Bar 5 was founded by Tony and Polly Byrd, born out of a simple yet powerful prayer: “Lord, what can we do for Your Kingdom?” What began as a dream from a young man from Coats, North Carolina came to fruition through grit, hard work, the Lord’s blessing, and a man’s obedience to do what the Lord asks. That dream became Bar 5—a place with a mission to bless His people above all else. It’s a family operation, built on faith and service, where every generation plays a part in stewarding what God has entrusted. At its heart, Bar 5 is a refuge, a peaceful sanctuary bathed in prayer and surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation.
